Boiling Point - The temperature at which water starts to boil is called the boiling point
To determine the boiling point
Take a boiling tube fill half with water and fix it to the stand.
Take a laboratory thermometer and dip it into the tube to make sure it should not touch the boiling tube wall.
Heat the tube with the help of a burner and note the temperature every 30 seconds.
You will find that initially temperature rises and once it reaches the 100-degree celsius water starts to boil after that temperature remains constant.
Note that temperature is the boiling point of water.
