Solution

Solubility

  • Amount of solute dissolved in 100 ml of water at a particular temperature.

a saturated solution

  • The solution in which no more solute dissolves at a particular temperature is called a saturated solution.
  • Solubility of salt in water is 36 gm per 100 ml.
  • Means at 25 degrees celsius it cants dissolve more than 36 gm salt such a solution is called a saturated solution.

On heating saturated solution

  • On heating saturated solution the solubility increases and now it can dissolve more solute become unsaturated.
