  • Octopus and squids do not have streamlined body shapes but when octopus move in seawater they make their body shape streamlined these animals stay deeper in the seawater near the sea bed and catch prey that moves towards them.
  • Most sea animals have gills that enable them to use oxygen dissolved in water for breathing.
  • on the basis of the above points it is clear that seawater is a habitat for living organisms.
