How common are allergies

Dear Student

About 1/3 rd of the population suffer from one or other form of allergy.
The common allergic disorders are asthma, allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, food and insect allergy, eczema and urticaria.
Around 20% - 30 % of total population in India suffers from at least one allergic disease.
This data shows that allergies are quite common.
