Question

How counting in general elections is different from other elections ?

Open in App
Solution

In general elections, the counting of votes across the country takes place on the same day and results are declared within few hours. In case of other types of elections, the same is done but across much smaller geographical area. The resources and administration required for the counting of votes for a general election is far bigger than any other election.
