Democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people. Democracy gives many fundamental rights to the citizens. These rights help in uplifting the dignity of citizens. Democracy gives the right to the people to elect the Government and if the Government does not perform up to the expectations of the people, the power to change the Government is in the hands of the citizens through elections.
