The drain of Indian wealth,the stagnation of the local industries due to British made goods,the oppression on the masses,high taxation on Indian goods high taxation on the peasants,the oppressive laws like Rowlatt act etc all paved a way to the rise of the nationalism as people through their able leadership became aware about the imperialistic ideas of the foreign rule.
