In 1792 there was political instability in France. French Revolution gave chance to Napoleon I to show his skills. The previous government was weak. The failure of ‘Directory’ and the military achievements of Napoleon contributed to rise in his power. After ' Reign of Terror ' in French Revolution the Frenchmen were looking for peace and stability . The rise of Napoleon was the only guarantee of peace and order in France.
