Nationalism developed culturally in India through the following ways:
a. Encouragement of studying India's past history was made. A[art from this a study on Indian language, science and culture was also conducted to revive the feeling of nationalism and create national pride.
b. Patriotic songs and poems were written by Indian writers which portrayed the sanctity and purity of Indian culture spreading the feeling of nationalism.
c. Image of Bharat Mata was created and people were inclined to show their devotion to the deity which strengthened nationalism.
d. Folk songs and legends were collected and their essence were restored to show the true culture of India and build nationalist feelings.
e. Street plays and dramas were organised which portrayed the beauty of Indian culture making people build their love and devotion towards their nation.
