Dear student,
Scientists understood that animals eating behaviour is different than humans due to their anatomical and physiological differences.
1) Human teeth are similar to herbivore except canine.
2) Muscular tongue is used for eating and speech purpose in human.
3) Humans release salivary amylase in the mouth for partial digestion of carbohydrate. Herbivore also release but carnivore do not release enzymes in mouth.
4) Stomach of human is one chambered and mild acidic.
5) Stomach capacity of human is 27% herbivore is 30% and carnivore is 70% of the total volume of digestive tract.
6) Length of small intestine is 11 times body length and in herbivore it 12 times and in carnivore it is 6 times body length.
7) Colon is long sacculated in human, colon is simple long and complex and may be sacculated in herbivore, colon is simple short and smooth.
8) Stomach is multi chambered in herbivore and simple in human.
