A series of technological inventions in Britain during the 18th Century, tremendously improved the production system in Britain. These new inventions enhanced the productivity level of those working in the factories. Below are the given inventions which transformed industrial production in Britain:
1. When Richard Arkwright created the cotton mill, it made cotton production relatively easier unlike the cumbersome process before. One could just purchase the mill and set it up in a large room or warehouse. Now all cotton related work could be done under one roof, allowing better management making cotton production more efficient. This was largely because cotton production was earlier done at the countryside with this invention the process had been urbanised.
2. With James Watt improving the steam engine, industrial production saw another wave of high growth. The engine was initially used in cotton as well as woollen industries, late shifting to mining and canal work.
3. With the invention of the cotton jenny cotton and woollen production was transformed, it was even better and more efficient than before.
