How did Vijay Singh use the egg? How did he use the lump of salt?

Vijay Singh asked the ghost to squeeze a piece of rock. The ghost tried to do so but he couldn't do it. Vijay Singh acting clever, snatched the rock from ghost and took out the egg from his pocket. He squeezed the egg with the piece of rock placing between his hands and at once the yolk oozed from his fingers. Next time, he picked up another piece of rock and gave it to the ghost to crush it. The ghost again tried to crush it but he still couldn't. Now Vijay Singh took out the lump of salt from his pocket and crushed it easily. Thus, by using the egg and the lump of salt he fooled the ghost easily.
