Open in App
Solution

The structure of nitrogen bases in mRNA molecule which contains the information for the synthesis of the protein molecule is known as genetic code.
A codon is the sequence of nitrogenous bases and mRNA which codes for the single amino acid. A single amino acid is determined by sequence of the nitrogenous bases which is known as a triplet code.
The anticodon sites which is present on t RNA has three unpaired bases also known as a triplet of bases whose sequence is complementary with mRNA.
