Antibodies:
Antibodies are immune molecules secreted by B-lymphocytes.
They bind to the antigens at specific sites known as epitopes.
Antibodies have a variable arm that binds to the antigen molecule.
They are highly specific molecules.
After binding to the pathogen molecules they destroy the antigen along with the pathogen.
They also tag the pathogenic molecules for engulfing and phagocytosis by macrophages.
