how do bees make their home?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
Honey bees take nectar from the flower and then mix it with the enzymes. The honey bee then transfers the nectar mixed with a specialized enzyme from their mouth to the tongue of another honeybee. During this transfer, the liquid evaporates and the honey is left behind. The glands of the worker honey bee convert the honey into wax. It comes out from the honey bee pores from the body and forms small flakes of wax on their abdomen. Then they chew these pieces until it becomes soft and changeable form. The chewed wax is added to form honeycomb construction. Thus, forming the home of the honey bee.
