Basis of difference Cardiac muscle Striated muscle​
Structure Cylindrical and branched cells and uninucleate. Intercalated discs is present. Striated muscles are made up of long fibres which are multinucleated and striated. No intercalated discs is present.
Function They help in rhythmic contraction and relaxation of heart. They are under the control of our will and thus, brings about voluntary movement.
