Cloud is a mass of minute water droplets or tiny crystals of ice formed by the condensation of the water vapour in free air at considerable elevations. Clouds play a very important role in cooling and heating of our planet.
They are an essential part of the water cycle. They provide an important link between rain and snow, ocean and lakes and plants and animals.
Cloud can trap the heat from the planet. At night, when there’s no sunlight, clouds are still trapping heat. So like this they help in protecting Earth from heat and make it warm.
