Open in App
Solution

Fungi:

  • Fungi are non-green multicellular plant-like organisms.
  • Fungi are heterotrophic in nature and therefore can't prepare their own food.
  • Examples- Yeast and Mushrooms.
  • Fungi and bacteria break down organic matter in dead plants and animals, converting it to simple soluble minerals, water, and gases.
  • Later these are then released into the soil, water bodies, and air.
