Growth of a plant is a process in which plants grow in mass, length, and volume without the addition of any new organ or tissues.
The growth of a plant begins from the seed stage only.
It further grows and becomes a seedling which on additional growth finally becomes a plant.
Plant growth is dependent upon several internal and external factors.
Internal factors include - plant growth regulators and genetic factors.
External factors include - temperature, light duration, water, nutrients, etc.
Effect of human activities on the growth of plants:
Human actions are causing serious damage to environmental resources.
Pollution caused by anthropogenic actions is deteriorating the quality of soil, water, and air.
The fertilizers used by humans are making the soil inadequate in long term and thus plants are not able to get natural minerals & nutrients for their growth.
