Solution

Plants are used for a variety of purposes: -

  1. Plants are used by a wide range of living things on the planet.
  2. Plants have several crucial functions, and without them, the earth would be a lifeless planet. Plants feed and nourish practically all terrestrial species, including humans. We eat plant-based or animal-based foods.
  3. Plants are also a source of nutrition for these animals. Plants assist in the reduction of pollutants in the environment. During photosynthesis, it sucks in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen.
  4. All aerobic organisms require oxygen for their cellular respiration to occur. It shields the earth from the sun's harmful UV rays and helps to keep the ozone layer intact.
  5. Plants provide various goods for human consumption, including fuel, timber, fruits, vegetables, medications, colors, insecticides, and so on.
  6. Many living things, such as insects, worms, mammals, birds, and reptiles, find shelter in plants. All living things on the planet owe their existence to every tree.
