  4. The major bacterial groups that dominate the gut microbiota are Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, and Actinobacteria.
  5. Helps digest complex carbohydrates and also synthesizes vitamins and amino acids.
  6. Loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, bloating, and abdominal pain are the common symptoms of the presence of bad bacteria in the gut.
