How do plants feel pain? What do they do to overcome it?

Nervous system should be present to feel the sensation of pain.Plants do not have a nervous system..So plants cant feel the pain..When we cut plant branches they do not feel the pain. Can animal body be cut without pain? It cant , becuse animals have nervous system.
If plants could feel pain, we would not be able to cut plant branches.
