How do plants get nutrients? Explain in detail.

Dear Student, Plants get nutrients through Air, Water and Soil mainly. Nitrogen, Carbon and oxygen are derived from Air while oxygen is also provided by water. In legumes fixed nitrogen is absorbed from soil. There are other nutrients like Iron, Sulphur, Copper, Zinc, Magnesium, Manganese and other nutrients are also absorbed from soil. Hydrogen is also derived from Air and Water. Regards
