Question

How do the areas covered with concrete affect the availability of ground water? [2 marks]

Open in App
Solution

Rainwater when falls in places that are mostly covered with concrete roads flows into the drains, and then goes to rivers or lakes. [1 mark]
A lot of effort is required to get this water back into our homes as the water did not seep into the ground which in turn reduces the availability of ground water. [1 mark]
