How do three state of matter arise?

Dear Student,
We know that solid, liquid and gases state of matter are the most commonly found state of matter. These states are physically quite distinct from each other primarily due to following two factor
(a) Inter particle forces
(b) Inter particle spaces
Thus the three state of matter exists beacuse the magnitude of inter particle forcesand the amount of inter particle spaces all the three state of matter are different.
