For naming coordinates lying between 2 consecutive whole number latitude or longitude we use minutes and Seconds.
  • The distance between two consecutive latitude and longitudes are divided into 60 divisions and each design is called a minute and one minute is further divided into 60 divisions and each one is called a second.
  • Example - 70° 21’ 20’’ E.
