Solution

Gravitational energy:

It is the energy possessed or acquired by an object due to a change in its position when it is present in a gravitational field. In simple terms, it can be said that gravitational energy is an energy that is related to gravitational force or to gravity.

Gravitational force:

It is one of the natural forces in the world. Between any two masses consisting of matter, there exists a gravitational force of attraction proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

Gravitational energy is used in the following ways in everyday life:

  1. A raised weight.
  2. A car that is parked at the top of a hill.
  3. A yoyo before it is released.
  4. A book on the table before it fails.
  5. Water flowing from the tap uses gravitational energy.
  6. We walk, sit and stand comfortably due to gravitational force.
