Phenotype is the set of observable physical properties of an organism as a result of the interaction of genes and environmental factors.
Phenotypic frequency:
The percentage of people in a population that have a particular physical trait or phenotype is known as phenotypic frequency.
It is the ratio that shows how frequently a certain phenotype arises in a population over the period of a single generation.
The ratio between the total number of times a specific phenotype appears in a population and the total number of individuals present can be used to compute relative phenotypic frequency.
The comparison of various phenotypic frequencies can also be done using relative frequency.
Example:
In a herd of cattle, there are cattle, among them are black and are white.
