Procedure for determining a perfect square.

As we know that,

Square of a number is defined as the result obtained when a number is multiplied by itself once.

Example,

42=4×4

42=16

The square root of a perfect square is always a positive integers.

Like, 49 is a perfect square because,

49=7

A number with a square root that is not a whole number is called a non-perfect square.

Like 40 is not a perfect square. Because,

40=6.3245
