Question

How do you determine the direction of the induced current?

Open in App
Solution

Induced current determine by the Flemings' Right-Hand Rule

Flemings' Right-Hand Rule:

  1. Fleming's right-hand rule can be used to determine the electromagnetic induction's induced electric current's direction.
  2. Stretch the forefinger, middle finger, and thumb in the manner depicted in the figure.
  3. So that they are all mutually perpendicular to one another.
  4. The central finger points in the direction of induced current in the conductor if the thumb and forefinger point in the direction of the conductor's velocity and magnetic field, respectively.
