Question

How do you find the cross product of vectors ?

Open in App
Solution

Finding the cross product of vectors:

The cross product of two vectors α and β can be found using the formula

A×B=|A||B|sin(θ)n

Where

|α| is the magnitude of vector α

|β| is the magnitude of vector β

θ is the angle between vector α and β.

n is the unit vector which is at the right angle to both the vectors.

Hence, we can find the cross product of vectors by the formula A×B=|A||B|sin(θ)n.
