Drawing Graph of a straight line:

A straight line is a one-dimensional figure which has only length, neither width nor height. A straight line is infinite in length.

To graph, a straight line, first, write down its equation, intercept and slope. Find atleast two point on the line and plot the points on the paper and join them to get your required line graph.

A straight-line graph is a visual representation of a linear function. It has a general equation of: y=mx+c

Where m is the gradient of the line

And c is the y intercept.

Example :

y=2x+1

Here we can see that the gradient m=2, and the y-intercept happen at (0,1).

For x-axisput y=0

x=-12Pointis-12,0
