Determinant of a matrix:

Determinant of a matrix is the scalar quantity that can be determined by using a square matrix.

If A is a matrix, then determinant of A is represented by A or det(A).

The square matrix has equal number of rows and columns.

Determinant of any 2×2 matrix abcd=abcd=ad-bc

Determinant of any 3×3 matrix abcdefghi=abcdefghi=a(ei-fh)-b(di-fg)+c(dh-eg)

Hence, determinant of the matrix can be found in this way.
