  • As living entities are not immortal and die at a certain point in time, cells also die.
  • Death of cells in human body takes place every second.
  • Because of the presence of cell organelles namely, lysosomes (suicidal bags) and mitochondria (respiration centre) we can deduce that cells have a life span and death as seen in a living entity.
  • Lysosomes present in the cell age, deteriorate get damaged and die through a process known as apoptosis.
