How do you separate a mixture of salt and pepper?

Dear Student,
Salt and pepper cannot be separated by easy dissolution and evaporation because both salt and pepper dissolve in water.
So to separate them we use another method. rub a wool and scale together.and then bring the scale near the dry mixture of salt and pepper ,the pepper particles will stick to the scale ang get separated
