Question

How does a bird use convection current to fly?

Open in App
Solution

Birds use convection currents to fly because of the warm air that rises. We know that draft is movement of air rising due to difference in temperature between ascending layers. So when the bird fly over this ascending column of air, then without extra effort, this convection current of air enables the bird to reach higher altitudes.
