How does acid rain fall?

The acid rain is due to the rain water which gets mixed with the harmful gases in the atmosphere. Due to the increase in the pollution, there are harmful gases like the SO2, NOx and CO2 which mix with the water fro the rain and gets converted to poisonous acids like sulphuric acid, nitric acid and carbonic acid. This acids come down with the water in the form of acid rain.
