How Does Air exerts pressure?

Open in App
Solution

The air can exert pressure when it is closed in any container or something.

The air is contain many molecules. These molecules are colliding with each other and with the walls of the container. When a molecule collides with the wall, they exert small force on the wall. These force create air pressure in container.

=> The more particles that hit the walls, the higher the air pressure.
