Aqueous humour is a transparent fluid which maintains the intraocular pressure and the vitreous humour is the transparent gel which fills the posterior cavity of an eye to give it a proper shape. In addition to that aqueous humour provides the necessary nutrients required by the eye and also removes waste from the eye.
