how does blood circulation in warm blooded animals differ from that of cold blooded animals?

Solution

Cold blooded animals: They generally have closed circulation ( blood flows through closed vessels). They have three chambered heart consisting of two atria and a variably partitioned ventricle. There is a little mixing of oxygenated and deoxygeneted blood during circulation.
Warm blooded animals: They have four chambered heart and shows double circulation (blood to be supplied once to the body is passed from the heart twice). There is no mixing if oxygenated and deoxygenated blood during circulation. The two types of circulation are- systematic circulation and pulmonary circulation.
