Climate influences tropical decidous vegetation of India. Tropical deciduous forests are found in areas with warm temperature and rainfall that is concentrated in a few months. Hence, in such regions, there is prolonged dry spell which occurs after the monsoons. In such a climate, trees shed their leaves during the dry season. Such vegetation is called tropical deciduous vegetation.
