Light is form of energy which helps us to see any things around us.
Light is a packet of energy and this packet of energy is known as photon.
Light has dual nature.
Light travel as an electromagnetic wave, and to tavel it medium is not required.
In case of reflection and refraction, when light incidents on any surface, the particles of light collide with surface and reflection and refractions occur.
Hence, We can say, due to dual nature of light it does not need any medium and any obstacle can stop it.
