Question

how does near point of exchange with advancing age

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student
With advancing age the lens inside the eyes become less flexible. This flexibility allows the eye to change focus from objects that are far away to objects that are close. Hence advancing age changes the focusing ability of the eye for near vision and hence the near point is changed. This condition of losing the focusing ability for near vision is called presbyopia.
