Solution

Adrenaline:

  1. Adrenaline or epinephrine is a hormone secreted by the medulla part of the adrenal gland.
  2. This gland is located on the top lobe of each kidney.
  3. Adrenaline is secreted at the times of an emergency.
  4. This happens when such a stimulus is detected which puts the body in danger.
  5. As soon as adrenaline is secreted and poured into the blood stream, it causes increase in the systolic blood pressure, and dilates the blood vessels to the coronary region.
  6. It also causes an increased metabolic rate so that the body can process and move faster to fight the situation or flee from danger quickly.
