  2. When antibodies attach to an antigen it signals other parts of the immune system to attack and destroy the invaders.
  3. Immunity is the ability of the body to defend itself against disease-causing organisms.
  4. Every day our body comes in contact with several pathogens, but only a few result in diseases.
  5. The reason is, that our body has the ability to release antibodies against these pathogens and protects the body against diseases.
