Solution
Perspiration or sweating helps keep our body cool on a hot day it is because evaporation causes cooling.
This is similar to water kept in a mud pot in summer. The mud pot contains very tiny holes through which the water seeps outside. It gets evaporated by the warm air outside. Getting evaporated requires some energy, which is the heat energy that is taken from the water itself. So water is getting cooled.
So in case of perspiration or sweating too, the sweat gets evaporated by taking heat from the surroundings and hence leaving the surface of the body cool.
We can hence also say that evaporation causes cooling.
