How does Pigeon & Crows hear??

Pigeons, crows and all other birds have the ability to hear just like the humans do. The only difference is that they lack pinna, the fleshy part of the ear. Pigeons have a very sharp hearing sense. They can hear sounds of much lower frequencies and that is why can hear distant storms and volcanoes. Crows also have excellent hearing abilities and can hear frequencies lower than humans can hear.
