Population structure affects a lot in the development of a country. This is so because in a country like India increase in population structure in the absence of lower economic growth gave rise to poverty. A large population do have the potential to bring economic development but if resources are limited and cannot be utilised properly then huge population structure creates difficulty in economic growth. Skilled and educated population group are always beneficial for the country. If they are give due opportunities they will rise the economy of the country.
