Question

How does sun produces light in vaccum?

Open in App
Solution

The sun produces energy to light and heat earth by using nuclear reaction from all of hydrogen in the sun. ... Light waves travel through vacuum and they are waves of electric and magnetic fields.

Nuclear Power is the only thing that gives life to the sun. Nuclear power can be produced in two ways namely nuclear fusion and nuclear fussion. it occurs in the sun;s core and it is so hot and compressed that large amounts of hydrogen atoms, stick together. When this happens, large amount of energy escapes. ( Thermal Radiation.) The form of thermal radiation that we see is visible light. The sun burns hydrogen atoms to form helium atoms. Sometimes, when the sun is 600c, high radiation is released by an object that is invisible because it is concentrated in the infrared region of the spectrum. The sun produces energy to light and heat earth by using nuclear reaction from all of hydrogen in the sun. Fusion envolves low mass. the loss of mass in the process is converted to energy according to Einstein's law of conversion of mass. E= M x C^2.M= loss of mass. C= velocity of the light. The sun is about 70% hydrogen and 28% helium by mass everything else ( "metals") amounts to less than 2%.
When thermal radiation happens, light waves appear and becomes visible light to human because it is superheated. Light waves travel through vacuum and they are waves of electric and magnetic fields. They travel in little packets of electrical energy that only travel in a line that isn't bend. it wont stop until they hit something. Basically, intense heat causes light.
