The affect of Temperature on Nernst equation explained below:

  1. The Nernst equation is Ecell=E°cellRT/zFlnQ. The Nernst equation shows the relation between cell potential and temperature. According to the equation, cell potential increases as temperature decreases.
  2. The Nernst equation is independent of the temperature because for every term in the equation it will be constant for particular reaction .

Hence, The Nernst equation will not change as the temperature changes.
